www.flickr.com/photos/thisislimboSurprised there is no thread here yet. One of the best street artists out there IMHO. Of course we show him at the gallery so I'm a bit biased but if you don't know his work check it out. He is based in Tel-Aviv but has been in town for the last week putting stuff up. s

I really like Know Hopes work, he's a very talented artist and a nice guy to boot. He did some fantastic work in Norway at Nuart this year. More Know Hope snaps here

While in town for his show, Know Hope has inserted his own mini-paper, The Anytimes, into various publications in news boxes and stands on the streets of Los Angeles. The Anytimes is a special work of art featuring poetry, ponderings, and classic imagery.

Did you actually get a copy for yourself from the gallery? Or KH didn't actually leave some for the reception attendees?

I heard Drew Barrymore found one of these randomly inserted ones and found it so interesting, she came in and bought a piece. Here are more pics from the installation.

Posted up an interview with Know Hope that provides some insight into the artist’s creative process and the symbolism in his work here.
