Absolutely agree. Loving the nightscape feel to it, which is something I've never seen out of him. And the bowling alley elements rule.
Moon is stellar too. But way to massive for me.
Can't wait to see the remaining 3 pieces he's finishing up.

Here's one of the three remaining pieces (of 6 total) he's finishing up before the opening. A nice non-orb piece too, ala the awesome (but way too pink and expensive) T-Rex tank piece. March 2009 oil on canvas 227.3x181.8cm Another freakin giant too. He definitely likes to work big, as especially evident in this show. And unfortunately when he doesn't, he tends to work too small for my liking. There doesn't appear to be a happy medium, which sucks cause I badly want a mid sized painting.

Nice one. I hope he has some medium pieces instead of tiny and ginormous pieces...

Nice one. I hope he has some medium pieces instead of tiny and ginormous pieces... Right. I'm all for the giants, as they probably convey the ominous orb imagery incredibly effectively in person. The other piece he's contributed for the Armory is indeed another monster. But when you're aiming to add something of his to the collection, it's sort of annoying that he keeps busting out the 20k+ pieces and completely avoids that mid sized region. Luckily, this piece is right in the sweat spot at 25x20.

Here's one of the pieces Mizuma will exhibit at the Armory this year. That is so nice! I would be very happy with one of his smaller pieces.

Wow, that's indeed awesome.
Sometime not too far in the future I hopefully will be able to afford one of his pieces...
I would love to see his work in person. Does anyone know of shows coming up in Europe or the US?

Does anyone know of shows coming up in Europe or the US? I think the closest I know of may be at Art Basel in Miami or Switzerland. But, no straight gallery shows that I know of unless you want to go to Asia.

Always nice to see some new work from Sashie. Doesn't seem like a huge body of work though.

He definitely doesn't set any records for output. Light Trap is pretty awesome, though.

Thank you for the coverage. I wish I could have picked up one of those Limited Globes. But I still love my model kit and enjoy his works immensely.
