Kim's got a new solo show at Gallery Henoch in New York on the 20th. Here's a look at a few of the pieces: Nice stuff, but for some reason I was liking the night scenes more than his day pieces. I think I've been in a dark mood lately. You can see the rest here www.galleryhenoch.com/index.html

I lied sort of(to make a joke)...his stuff actually goes from about $2,000 to the $6,000 range, at least thats what they were going for at his White Walls solo show last year. But you get your moneys worth(example 48" by 54" for $5,000 / 24" by 36" for $2,800) Some of his pieces are huge(60"by96") and they go for $10,000 to $12,000

Here's a couple of my favorite pieces by him for those who aren't familiar with his work:

If you like Kim's stuff - check out Robert Townsend, who's showing at Hespe in San Francisco... Kim came down for his opening.

I agree, Kim's work is more contemporary but he shows at many galleries that cater to other "Low Brow" artists. I'm also not into a "Low Brow" scene or a "Contemporary" scene, I'm just in to what moves me.

kim's work is great! got to see the show at Gallery Henoch here in NYC. I think his prices are a bit higher now but I also think he is working on a larger scale. Really strong work and they are incredible in person.

I've been following Kim Cogan's show since his first solo at WW a while ago... At first, I wasn't so fond of his skyscape pieces until he began to do some building-scape and chinatown. If he's going to have a solo show again in SF, I need to get myself a piece from him! I truly love his color tones.

Anyone have any recent dealings with Kim? I'm trying to deal with him but he seems very elusive. I guess I've just been very lucky as all the artists who work I've fallen for and added to the collection have been really approachable, Kim seems to be the first to show no interest in making the effort. Bit of a shame as some of the work he produces is quite striking.

I emailed back and forth with Kim about a year ago inquiring on picking up one of his skull studies. He was very helpful and courteous, offering to accept payment plans et cetera.
