Good eye. I noticed that piece as well. Not sure if it sold but definitely would be the kind of piece from Mars-1 that I would want.

I think the Levine show is going to be rather large. maybe 20-30 pieces with the biggest piece he has ever done too.

Not sure if it sold but definitely would be the kind of piece from Mars-1 that I would want. Not sold...and I totally agree. If I were to buy a new Mars-1, I think it would definitely be one of these works on paper. Such a refreshing twist on the trademarked Mars style. But it would have to be priced accordingly. This one is too expensive.

Mars-1 continues to be one of my favoritre artists. His color sense is wonderful . . . as well as his graceful lines. I was fortunate enough to see his show at Jonathan Levine gallery a few months ago, . . .I like the scale of the new ones very much.

Some in progress pics. "Here are couple paintings I stared in the studio when I got back from Symbiosis. Freshly inspired after the collective head-space shared with Oliver Vernon and David Lee, I can see a shift in this new body of work. Very excited to see where these paintings go!"
