where did you turn this one up? is this for her thinkspace show? holy smokers. i'm used to the raccoons (underneath my home on occassion). although a few of the whale-ghost-dolphins look scary.

i like the raccoons.. it's the floating sea creature showing off its teeth that throws it off a bit for me
other than that.. this is just damn beautiful!

yay!!! my prints just arrived, thanks mailman! i got both, amaranthine and the apple and the string.. super fast shipping and super well packed as always! i'm SO in love with that flying bear, what an incredible piece, i almost just bought amaranthine (one of my favorite favorites!), thinking maybe i'm running out of space, where will i put that humongous flying bear print, lol.. i'm SO glad i caved at the last minute and got both instead, it's just magical... i can never say no to her lovely artwork! thank you amy sol for always brightening my day!!! (and dylan for the super packaging!)

A new technique from Amy. Looks nice, hope she sells some with this style. "i like this technique using gouache and drafting pens. i think ill start doing most of my studies using this method. the gouache dries so nicely, you can draw and layer right over the pigment with graphite. i like to use simple red and blue .03 drafting pens with primary color gouache for the studies. its neat to discover all the hues that come from just few manipulated primary colors. yellow, red, blue, black. "

We may be seeing kangaroos, koala bears, emus or even the tasmanian devils in her future paintings the writer got that big new print for free? some people can just get so lucky.
