my very first painting purchase, this is titled "being mother nature's son" by gig poster artist marq spusta, painted around 2003/4 @ measuring approx 6" x 15" IMO marq is a very good illustrator Attachments:

we had Marq in a couple of Fresh Produces a few years back....I always loved his work...very cool you acquired one of his works. One of my favorites by him was an image of a girl, much like the girl in your painting, on a grassy lawn....wish I could find an image of it.

you would recognise roland tamayo as the artist here, i got involved in a commission with roland earlier in the year, he was kind enough to accept and today he passed on a completed image for me to share, cannot wait to get this in hand, 30"x20" based upon my home city growing up and a good reminder for my family of my late father, i think its important to add that the whole experience of working with roland has been 1st class, yet to be named piece, thank you Attachments:

i am unsure if there is a dedicated framed section on the forum, so i thought i would share a few of my framed prints since the time has arisen for me to colour my house walls, this one is john seabury silk screen called sympathy for the devil the rolling stones movie, i went all out with a fancy moulding which i think complements well Attachments:

I've often thought of using dark grey mats and it's nice to see one used so effectively - great job and cool print.

I've often thought of using dark grey mats and it's nice to see one used so effectively - great job and cool print. might be giving the illusion of dark grey because of the glare etc, but the matt is actually black, i don't have this on the wall because this prints quite big and heavy and i am thinking of installing picture rails |
