Hi there,
I was hoping that some gallery or organized collector may be able to offer some insight about software to catalog art collections. I am aware of Artbase but was curious if there are any non-subscription based programs on the market.
Any help would be appreciated greatly.
Thanks,
Simon

Though not specifically set up for art, I use COLLECTORZ to catalog my art and comics(yeah, I'm one of THOSE guys). COLLECTORZ has all of the fields I need for tracking my art collection(artist, date purchased, price, from whom ect). And at a one time cost under $50 I like it.

Just so you guys know, we're launching a newer version of Vesica at the end of Q1 2011. It'll have a whole lot more than just art archiving in it with a new interface. It will then officially have everything including documentation, management and marketing of art collections and you'll be able to use everything from the basic features down to what large museums need and use. The number of free pieces allowed will also go up at the end of Q1.
Any questions, please post and I'll be happy to answer.
