I'm actually surprised that they managed to spin an entire show out of this. I've seen the mushrooms about outdoors and at first thought them to be quirky and something a little different. I soon got tired of them though. In terms of trNsfering street art into a gallery setting, some artists do this successfully by adapting their work for the indoor/outdoor context. I see no adaptation here though, just a bunch of fibreglass mushrooms inside a gallery. That said, I'd be interested to see if the show sold or not...
