I also spotted the Seuss "Waterfall" in the back of the framed stack on the floor. Have "Waterfall" in my living room next to my "Semi Normal Green Lidded Fawn" sculpture.

Working on? Yeah, definitely needs more work. It looks a little out of balance. I think you should sell me one of the Flores sketches for your original cost so as to create better symmetry and harmony.

I see the spot where the other Haslam is going. I think it'll look good when you get it... as long as the mailman doesn't keep it for himself.

Creepers! I didn't realize you were so into JLed, my friend. I would've so flipped all those Mr. Bunnys when the yellow alone was getting north of $1k. That was such an insanely speculative period for vinyl, for which it appears the bubble has final popped. Sucks for me, as it looks like I'm about to unload all of my vinyl to raise cash in this financially challenging period. Very impressive setup tho! Where's Ms. Bunny's palm tree?
And I'll say it again, sell me one of those Flores sketches. Pretty please!

oooooh "Savior of nature" that's as good as it gets for a Jeff Soto! Classic Soto piece. I couldn't agree with you more, and I'm not saying that just cause I was lucky enough to be the commissioner of it. But I do love the focused, figurative nature of this period in Jeff's evolution, with this probably being the premier example of. Here's a neat little slideshow of the making of it. I requested that Jeff snap some progress images as he went along, but not to provide them to me until after he had completed it and I had seen the finished product. Didn't want to ruin the surprise. But it's super cool to see something like this for someone who doesn't have a lick of artistic talent. www.flickr.com/photos/wtusinski/sets/72157606898691811/show/

Managed to frame up my Keyes in a manner that works and that actually accentuates the painting itself. Was a bit of a challenge finding a moulding that worked. But I think this looks great..and only cost $47 shipped!
