does anyone know of a website that lets you help plan out painting arrangements and things on your walls? i don't have photoshop nor would i know what i was doing if i had it, but it just seems like there would have to be some fairly simple site that you punch in some dimensions and can add specific sized rectangles etc and drag them around. perhaps a fancy one where you could even load in the image of the painting.
i tried doing some searches and only found entire house decorating pages that didn't really let you get very specific with just a wall. if anyone knows of anything it would really help me out. i have like 30 pieces to hang and i'm not so great at visualizing. i'd like a little freedom and ease to play with some configurations and see them if possible. thanks for any help.

thanks man. yeah i should probably just go download gimp or something and suffer through trying to do something far above and beyond what i actually need to be able to. i just figured there would be something out there that would take me like 2 minutes to punch in my painting dimensions and wall size and i could start dragging things around right in a webpage. perhaps there isn't. i will check out your link. thanks again.

Have you heard of google sketchup? Sounds like it is the sort of thing you are after. It's really simple to build a 3d model of a space and you can add images. It's free too.

I've downloaded SKETCHUP about 4 times now and everytime I open it it freezes up. So if anyone is successfully using SKETCHUP8 I'll try again. But until then I give that program a thumbs way down.
