$1200-1500 for the single ones. Pretty ridiculous!?! I think so. btw. This was a bored experiement in the woeful act of quoting oneself. Surprised if affording me the option to even do so. Don't blame me if the world folds in on itself as a result Haha, even I haven't quoted myself before I think. Yah, for that price, I would rather have bought one of those dissected books that actually had some D*Face imagery on them. I almost almost pulled the trigger but didn't. Personally, those book things have even less value for the price. I guess I do not get them. But was definitely taken aback by the price on the butterflies cause I got someone on board to grab me one that was planning on getting there obscenely early to mull a print for someone else and could've grabbed the pick of the litter. Just couldn't do it for the number. Still kinda wish I had talked myself into one. They look even better here. While the show is hugely derivative to me, if not very smartly orchestrated, I must say that knife installation is pretty amazing. Here's a great side shot..

i know he was trying to get the knives installation to be 'moving' so that the knives dropped at intervals. looks like that didn't work out, but that installation looks pretty dynamic as it is.
i quite like the books myself, but i'm a fan of the exquisite corpse styled works that these fit right in with. i presume that all the books and bugs sold out at the opening? anyone know what the books were priced at? would be nice to compare prices to the ones shown recently at stolenspace.
there's a great picture on arrested motion of khoi with a zombified michael jackson!
