Im interested in others thoughts on this topic.
Historically, art seems to have a rather interesting way of documenting the feminine. So much of the current work I see seems to be a search for defining the feminine in current life... I find it interesting that while the feminine seems to be fighting for identity that the art also seems to be struggling with distorted views of woman, charectures, distortions, sometimes painful and twisted, sometime idealized or etheric but not as often concise and strong.
Curious if anyone sees the same thing or has an opinion.
