Another young talented art student making beautiful work I love. Here's a self portrait piece posted on her blog( teapartygirl.livejournal.com/ ) that she did for a class assignment, it's a guaranteed A+.: Some more work: If you like her stuff, Svenman has a piece for sale in the Buy,Sale,Trade thread.

Hey, since we're talking about framing. The piece I have of Sarah's came framed but with no glass. Is it safe to keep it like this or should I have it framed with glass to protect it?

that's a nice piece amanda - classic joncas goldfish and all. i have so far resisted her stuff except for a small study piece. i believe you saw marcus there. a pic might have been posted on they blog by marcus since it's a team blog.

Ah, it must have been Marcus. I love your blog! I was especially excited to find out about Erika Yamashiro from your blog... Her work is so interesting, and it looks like she's showing at project:gallery starting April 19th.

I like the top left piece a lot. The goldfish skeleton tattoo is a nice touch.

Whoah! Really digging the snake one. I think the snake one (aka Cherry Darling? 24"x18") is still for sale at M Modern for $1,700 along with Cherry Study 10"x12" for $900 if anybody is interested. They're both part of the Tiki Exhibition.

I've been kicking myself for the last year. I interviewed her for my site more than a year ago, and I wanted to buy some of her work but just waited on it.
I really wish I would have just jumped on it then.

As a rule, I don't buy prints... but I might have to make an exception for "A Place To Confide." Always wanted that one.
