Indeed truly splendid work. I look at his pieces and it makes me feel like a lazy git..

I love his work as well, very skilled... Although alot of sculpy was used on some of these, I can still tell what the original platform toy was (which I always want to be able to see). Hm...except the middle one. Is that an original sculpture?

Hm...except the middle one. Is that an original sculpture? The "Worm Charmer of the North" is an original sculpture, no platform. The hair/dreads were actually done with help from Amanda Spayd, who works mostly in plush and fabric. It's a great piece in person, and the head is really about life-sized to a human head.

"Freyja" Exclusive resin release for Dragon*Con from Circus Posterus and Chris Ryniak. Chris sculpted the master, and is hand-painting each piece. 6.5" tall. $85 each, limited to 20 pieces.

Chris posted paint process pics, thought I would share: Blank tinted resin: After the initial detail wash and highlight drybrushing: The painstaking undercoat of the flower and tentacle drybrushing: Black and high gloss varnish added to the eyes for the final touches: I'm a total sucker for process pics like this. Always neat to see how this stuff happens.

Freyja is awesome. I was lucky enough to get one at Dragin Con from the splendid Mr. R and it is truely wonderful.

Does anyone know if the freyja piece is available anywhere? I read online that only 20 were released at dragon con and the rest would be sold through circus posterus but I don't know if that's true or not. Or will there be a future run that is not hand painted?
