The sculpture shows allot of promise. (reminds me a little of McGee's Alice) Love artist that are brave enough to branch into sculpture from painting.

Martin's actually done a bit of sculpture in the past. This snail-bunny piece is, in fact, #1 in an edition of 250 which will be released in a few months. Only the first 3 figures will be hand-painted by Martin, and I'm thrilled that he's given us the very first one for the "Cry for Help" benefit show. Here are some sculptures he's done previously.

bumped into martin at the aqua art fair in miami. first time i'd got to see his work in a non jpg kind of way. really impressive. he was a nice guy too - he gave me one of his business cards, which was a signed and numbered mini-print. how cool is that?

That Lantern piece is still for sale (it showed Aqua Wynwood and didn't sell). Now it has been made a part of the Tempest Show at Copro Nason: www.martinwittfooth.com/Tempest/tempestshow.htmlSeems like the price has gone up $200! Acutually, it's entitled Fountain. It's birds on a plant growing out of a van? Lovely piece. It comes framed.

Martin Wittfooth will be opening a new exhibition at Roq La Rue this December entitled "The Devil's Playground". Martin's new exhibition shows a profound jump in sophistication in both technique and content. Ping me if you want to get on a preview.

That is magnificent, a true masterpiece. Did not think Wittfooth could get any better but here we are. Congratulations to whomever scores this jewel.

I saw another new piece on his website the other day, and I could not believe how amazing the new piece was. There was a very signifacant improvement in technique (bare in mind this is an amatur talking). He was already one of my favourtie artist before this new work, and as virtue said, i didnt think he could get much better, let alone to this level. Major props

Beautiful pieces. Perhaps a plant themed show is coming up as it's called "Gardens".

I must say, of all the artists I see on this board, Martin is one of the artists that has improved his skills the most. I have always been fascinated with his work, but I really feel that the new work is a step up in so many ways. Light, technique, concept of show, etc.
The new stuff is simply mesmerizing, if only I could go.
