Hey Craig, great seeing you over here, can't wait to see what else you've collected. I know we have similar interests in at least one artist

welcome to the forum easycraig, and thanks for sharing the pictures. love those jim houser pieces, esp. the lurker! what i love most about the pics though is that you have a piece of art hung on the back of a door! haha! wonderful.

I also noticed that. Great idea when running out of space!
Do you have heavy / thick wooden doors? I have cheap, nasty white one's from somewhere like 'Wickes' that if you sneeze on them you would make a hole in. They would never be able to take the weight of a framed print.

thanks for the comments.... yup, we ran out of space a long time ago! -as for hanging art on doors, we do it all the time, the key being to put earthquake putty on the corners of the picture, -never had a problem (and that door is hollow!) -my wife collect small vintage 'things' lol! (gears, knobs, cheese graters, glassware, boxes, shoe lasts, -stuff in general) -she is responsible for the personality of our home. -everything definitely has "its place" in our home, if it didn't, i would be hanging pictures on the ceiling(trust me, i have tried! lol!) ec

Love the Travis Louie. Who is she and what's her story? Always really dig his little stories that go with each piece.

cool stuff man. i like the "vibe" of your collection.
that greenberg with the umbrella is the best piece from her that i've seen. it has the personality and simplicity that i had looked for in a piece from her for quite a while. very nice. that being said, all three of yours are top top notch.

Lovely Parla's - Do you have the Martha Cooper photo to go with the non water color? I ended up getting the Neckface/ and Cooper from that same showing.

Great collection of a very diverse group of artists - what's really cool is the way you've intertwined the found/industrial/antique pieces, which re-contextualizes everything. Also the Cal Ripken Starting Lineup figure lurking in the first photo is a nice touch.

here is the latest.... my daughter's room.... about a month and a half ago... she said " dad, I want to hang more art in my room!" - I was happy about it but did not think much of it..... then I came home one night and the boss (wife) and her had gone to town in there with art I had in storage..... then my daughter said, I want to lose the pink walls... and the boss said... lets paint her white furniture black... so now she has grey walls with black furniture.... she is 12 going on 21. My two futura paintings just came back from the framers yesterday, and my daughter said she wanted them in her room! - i was very pleased to hear this because I was going to hang them in front of 2 windows in my office! lol! I think her room is my favorite in our home now.... seen shepard fairey rene gagnon d-face futura seen jason filipow studio 1 obey rene gagnon ian millard futura faile on the floor! lol here are some overall room shots to give you a better idea of the room's feel.... -I am really happy with the way it turned out! ec
