My gosh... that collection is insanely awesome. Love that Parla, the Kawasaki and the Louie among many others.

- thanks for all the very nice complements -I have put a lot of time and effort into the collection, so it means a lot to hear it from other folks who have the same passion.
harv... - i hope to start shooting the shepard pieces soon... ( i still have 5-6 pieces i want to get re-framed... -been kinda waiting on that... - just so darn expensive! -and it seems like it never ends )
svenman- the elbow-toe is just over 10 feet tall.... almost 7 feet wide... and over 250 lbs.... -luckily it comes apart ( 3 pieces ) -it is a beast... -but it gets the most attention from guests/friends when they see it for the first time.... - and it is probably my favorite piece in my collection for a number of reasons. ec

Hi Easy, In addition to your collection I like the random antique items around them. Your collection reminds me of the very famous and controversial Barnes collection. If you don't know who he is watch, "Art of the Steal" or read the LA Times article below. latimesblogs.latimes.com/culturemonster/2009/11/barnes-.html

^^ interesting read.... (bit depressing though!) today i did some masking and spray painting! (wife said it had to be black.... to match everything else... ) - I think she was right (although it looked nice in white also... ) the black frame really brings out the dark colors in the water color. (its not really a fair photo comparison, I believe I shot during the day with the side drapes open (natural light) for the white frame, tonight this is with all the drapes closed and just the flash from my camera) ec before: after:

Nice paint job. It does look more cohesive now.
