I'm frankly surprised that there's no mention of Bruno 9li here. He's starting to have a break-through the surface all the way from Brazil. Did you make it down to Anno Domini for this show?
Work is definitely very intriguing ... not sure if I'll make it down to San Jose in person to check this out. You're right about the details ... lots going on in these paintings.

You're right about the details ... lots going on in these paintings. Yes, I did go to the reception and the paintings absolutely blew my minds out. I don't even think it was necessary for Bruno 9li to do a site installation. The paintings are really that SUPERB enough. But then Bruno 9li was definitely enjoying himself working on his art and that's what matters the most! You should pedal your bike to SF's Caltrain station, take a relax ride all the way to SJ downtown and pedal to the Anno Domini. It's worth a trip to his show. I probably will visit it again since there were awfully too many people at the reception. |

wow. the new stuff looks great... wish the gallery wasn't all the way in SJ, they have alot of rad shows (wanted to make it to the calma one also), maybe i'll make a trip there and check it out

i just got back home from overseas today, and i've been catching up the things in the web and this video of bruno 9li has been circulating around the web lately, but just wanted to post it up here since i thought the video was a wonderful introduction about how mr. 9li's concept/thoughts on his pieces. |

Just wanted to pass this new paintings done by 9Li recently... more refined than before and such beautiful color harmony pieces...   I recently talked with him and he said that he's having a show here in SF sometimes next year at UP! |

He is also painting a mural while he is in Denver. Gonna stop by later today. Will post photos pronto.
