I am from Indonesia and is still new to the market overseas, any insights from the pros here on original arts that will be valuable in the future? Sorry if the questions are too general.

In all seriousness, Andy Milonakis is going to be the next Rembrandt, just you wait and see!

wow. John on the plus side that probably means you're charging way too little for your work.

Indonesia actually has quite a few great emerging artists. I am sure they could use your support!

Thanks for the suggestions All great artists to consider, well except andy milonakis Well indonesia has lots of new emerging artists, but i'm just trying to have a wider knowledge. I have been lately interested in the so called "conceptual/pop realism" with artists like mark ryden, audrey kawasaki. Their arts costs high and supply is very low while demand is high. If they keep up such trends i figure their original artworks will keep rising? or not? even their limited edition prints costs so much.

Buy what you like, not what you think may be worth money in 20 years. Investment wise, you are better off buying gold bars to stick on the wall

(just for the record - I do understand your point mate, and I 100% agree with you, but I didnt get a feel this thread is about the visual/emotional aspect of it)

afroken said it best, go with Gerhard Richter. I'll add, buy a big one....or two big ones.
