I feel a little strange posting my own work, but I wanted to share it with you. Hope that is ok. I use birch plywood and stains as a medium and I cut, sand and stain each piece by hand. I have always been a fan of Lichtenstein and in an almost tongue-in-cheek fashion I wondered if I could take one of his pieces and recreate it in another medium. Similar to how he took comic strips and repositioned it as lithography, etc. Since that first piece I have been doing original work. It all has that hard-edged graphic style, but there is no shading when it comes to this technique with the wood stains. Here is one piece with a couple of detail shots. I would be happy to post more work if anyone is interested. Feedback is always welcome.

Impressive! No laser cutting at all? No. I have thought about having pieces cut by CNC, but I think it would take all the fun out of it. I cut everything with a jig and scroll saw.

I recently decided to try a print. I took the individual pieces of cut plywood and rolled them with paint similar to a wood block print. I plan on assembling the final piece once I know that all 15 have been delivered safely. Signed and numbered edition of 15. 30 x 22 Arches 88 paper 300gm, deckled edge, acid free 4 color wood cut print
