Some pretty special looking canvases. I'm not feeling the paper pieces. But look forward to seeing them in person

Hi Sven,
I will be going as love to see Parla's work. I find some quite 'hypnotic' and some of these canvas's will be great to see before they find new homes.
The paper pieces did not look great (although it was only a PDF) so I will hold judgement until I see them.
However, I would be a little nervous in paying (a lot of money) for a piece produced on newsprint.
Newsprint is not archival nor does it particularly hold colour or paint very well. Not sure what the long term effect will be.

I agree with you Zippy. Those pieces confuse me and, if a friend were asking, I would recommend going for an older watercolor as opposed to this new series.

OK this one is a must if you can make it. Was very fortunate to have a viewing since considering a piece. Jose was working on his installation which looks fantastic. Great to see him back in the UK
