I wasn't sure to start a thread for Jim Kazanjian's work in the photography thread or the contemporary thread..... www.kazanjian.netJim works with photography, but is not a photographer. I was blown away when i first came across his take on impossible architecture - as that's what i do for a living... at least the possible side of things anyway. Jim constructs his images from literally thousands of internet sourced photographs to make his compositions. I'd love to hear opinion on his work from others here - he seems to get a wide range of press from art and photography sites, design sites, architecture sites and even the daily mail (!). i got to meet him a couple of weeks ago. his process is fascinating and he has a wicked sense of dry humour. Here's a few images:

Sven, He has been a closet fave of mine for some years now. I still have never made the jump to purchase photographs though as I always find them too realistic. His definitely fit that bill. I do enjoy his work and as far as I know for photograph editions his work is quite reasonably priced.
As far as I know, only the top image is the only one to be sold out.
Curious to hear more about the process if you have time-willing.
