Love all of Chet's work but would love to see more in the style of "The Mourner" I think it might be an older piece?

Love all of Chet's work but would love to see more in the style of "The Mourner" I think it might be an older piece? Thanks. That is an older piece. I think I did it in 2001/2002? It's a 100% digital painting and subsequently a print that sold out pretty fast (gonna do another larger edition of it this month). I would like to repaint it large on a physical canvas or board someday. I am trying some different things these days. This piece is for Mark Murphy's "Know" exhibition for Art Basel next week and I think it's a little bit more in that direction. It's called "Psychlops" and it is 10x10":

Thanks! Glad you like my Dad's work as well. We have a big Father/Son show coming up in May at L'imagerie gallery. I am really looking forward to showing with him. He was a big influence on me. Here is a portrait he did of the 2 of us called "When Worlds Collide":

Well, I try to. But I am not quite disciplined enough to go all the way with it. I mostly use techniques from all disciplines that make sense to me. By the way, here is a new video interview that was just posted recently: cgchannel.com/Thanks very much.

Thanks very much. Hellboy 2 was really fun for me to work on. Guillermo Del Toro was the coolest. Sadly, I haven't been very good about keeping up with photos of my film work. But here are a couple- one of me working on The Chamberlain's tattoos and one painting Cathedralhead parts.

Whoa, I didn't realize you worked on that. I LOVED the creature designs in that film. It's very cool that you got to contribute to that!

Thanks for sharing Chet.
I love Guillermo Del Toro's films. Can't wait for the third film in his Spanish Civil War Series (trilogy?) to follow The Devils Backbone and Pan's Labyrinth. The movie score from Pan's Labyrinth is one of my all time favorites. (love movie scores)

I didn't realize he worked on Hell Boy 2 either until I saw it for the first time and I immediately recognized one of his charters. Then I had to run to my computer and look it up.I am a HUGE fan of Che,s and I am amazed at how he finds the time to do everything he does, he must be a busy man,and seeing that photo of him with the headphones on working reminds me of me so much, I have a set of audio-technia studio quality head phone that have some amazing sound that when you listen to it really makes you feel like you are in a different world. Keep up the amazing work, these movies just wouldn't be the same without your creations and your fine art is so inspiring to me and I am sure many many others as well.

Thanks, Bytor!
Virtu, I'm a big Guillermo fan as well which i another reason it was so cool to work with him. He has also been a big supporter and collector of my work.
On another note, Guillermo told me he put me in his new novel, The Strain. I guess there is a character in it who is an art collector that has me and Mark Ryden in his collection! Ha ha, I thought that was so cool! I just got the book and am starting to read it, hopefully it didn't get edited out!

He was in town to promote the book and I missed him. Bob was going to introduce me. I had to take my kid to a camping thing for the Brownie troop she belongs to. got to be a good dad, . . .I only get to do this once.

Nope, it's in there. I just got to that part last night. It was you, ryden and one other artist that i'm drawing a blank on right at the moment but good company to be sure! Still haven't made up my mind if I like the book or not yet though. Thought it started off really well but it's kind of dragging a bit now.
