^ Congrats on picking up the Josh Keyes 'Rising' piece from the Hi-Fructose show at Copro/Nason! Both of those pieces are really wonderful ones from Josh.

Hey Hung -
How were you able to get the "Rising" piece from the HF show? Were you well positioned on his list?

hehehe, i have my ways.
seriously though, i lucked out basically...
i saw the watcher piece on ebay up for bid and emailed the seller asking if they had a buy it now price. i just happened to check my ebay email randomly which i do like once every two days and noticed he emailed me back (one hour or so earlier). i looked and it was still available so i quickly clicked the BIN. good thing he had some integrity because he had many offers for more after i bought it.
the hi-fructose piece i believe i was just the first to ask about it... caroline (ck) saw the flyer for the show and noticed josh keyes on there, she told me (for which i'm eternally grateful) and i called right away...
anyways, pretty lucky stuff, just glad i have two because i came late to the game on this artist. can you believe i passed up an interlock piece at LA when i had the chance? what was i thinking? i need to call OKOK and see where i'm on the list, anyone have any luck getting any info from them?

How big are those Hung-Hei? Those are almost identical to the larger 18x18 images of the seasons that Soto did for his last show at LeVine (that were then issued as prints via Murphy Design as a bonus with his latest book in the box set edition of it)...
All framed together would be killer, they look to be only 6x6" or so? Nice one sir.

Mine are alot smaller at around 5 x 4." These are the ones you are thinking of. Fire Earth Wind Water Interesting enough the Wind and Water file names were Spring and Winter respectively so maybe he wanted to do seasons but then changed his mind.

Ahhh... right you are sir. Yeah, was most familiar with the Winter piece since we have on hand for Oli now, and assumed the others were seasons as well. Again, nice score. They compliment the elements series nicely.

Those are super cool! I believe Soto did the seasons (4 paintings) the previous year (2006) for the "Supernova" exhibit at Jonathan Levine. Congrats!
