You really do have an amazing collection SB - I really like your Josh Keyes pieces, but can't fault you for wanting more. And your interview with Andrew provides an interesting read and a bit of insight into your collecting. Cheers.
p.s., like your Tin's too -- I recognize the frame on the Copro piece from Sherman Gallery.

Little known fact: Sleep actually lives in a Koons sculpture.

I have to agree with Sven, really like the CRG diptych - where did ya' score that one Sleep? Meant to ask ya' after you shot those pics over to me. Glad all enjoyed the interview, having fun doing 'em for sure.
I'll be posting another round of collector interviews over next few weeks on Sour Harvest including a nice one with Morgan Spurlock (Super Size Me, 30 Days, etc). Keep an eye out.

"I think it takes time for a certain genre of art to become accepted because it is not so much convincing current collectors as it is waiting for our generation to grow older and more affluent and once a critical mass is reached, there will be a mainstream acceptance."
Well said hh...

Slowly making my way through the collections on here. I cannot really add anything that others have not said..very impressive collection. My 2 favs would have to be the large Soto - the nicest he has done and the Chueh, Disintegration..the best he has done!

Unfortunately, I did sell that Craola because I was offered something I couldn't refuse at the time. Plus, what I really wanted was the White Knight character. I did make up for it and buy this the piece though shortly thereafter that was larger and closer to the kind of imagery that I was looking for. [/quote] I would be interested to see your collection Bob.

I personally have had the pleasure and honor of seeing sleepboy's collection in person. It's pretty darn epic to say the least. Many, though not all, of the pieces you see are actually his, that KAWS tattoo you ask? Yes it's sleepboy's, and no, that's not his leg.....

As for the leg, let's just say Chinese parents name their kids after the first thing that comes to mind when they see them being born. As for my collection, going to the actual flickr account will get an idea of what I own although I haven't updated it in a while. Look at the sets to the right. www.flickr.com/photos/sleepboy/Thanks for the kind comments.
