I really like the first one, although I will have to say there are aspects in each painting that I enjoy. I almost want to take bits and pieces from each painting because I can see the potential in each one. Maybe I am conflicted because of how different each image is.

Yeah , one thing I am working on is getting my pieces to have more of a common thread. I have experimented with different styles and I think I finally have found what I really like and soon I will have a large body of work to show that is in that "style". Thx for the comment

What I see leslie is that whatever you do you do well,I like to see an artist that does not allways paint the same things for the sake of sells. Art is the last thing we have that has not been mas marketed to a point where it loses its soul.Keep pushing for more.

I really do paint how I feel and sometime that means that all my paintings don't look the "same" ( like painting a similar or same subject in a little different environment is what I mean by the "same"). I feel so many different emotions and I have a deep burning to express all of them and not just a few.It might mean in the future I have to edit out a few paintings here and there if they don't "fit" well with the rest of the paintings I do, but I really hope it doesn't come to that.

i wonder what your dreams are like leslie :-) Hey Sylvia, nice to see you on here, My dreams, sometimes they are really on a "quantum physics " level if ya know what I mean, like very surreal, like I am not a human I am a strange form that can be in different dimensions. But the weird thing about these dreams is there is always a positive and a negative force ( good and evil) that make things happen. Then also on a more normal dream , I have a lot of dreams about being in my childhood home where I grew up and the dream usually surrounds my father in some way. In real life he dies a few years back and I don't think I have totally let go. I love your work and hope to see you on here more posting some of your great work!

wow. i can totally relate my dad passed away in august and i found out about it in late sept, i havent really "delt" with it yet because i m still kinda dealing with not having him around....its very odd.... my dreams are kinda weird too but have nothing to do with my work alot of it stems from simply being a woman and the pros and cons of it our place in society and the candy coated package we are often presented as..... when there are so much more substance to us than the superficial.
im working on some new paintings ill post some more up soon im really bad with promoting my work ugh i gotta get over it though lol xoxoxo

are you talking to yourself here? She was using my quote, but for some reason it didn't have a highlighted box around it.
