I live in Baltimore (anyone heard of it?). We had a wonderful gallery called Definition but it closed after two years. It was in one of the best spaces possible in the city. If anyone wants to take its place, I'll volunteer to help promote, paint walls, hand out beers at shows, etc.

Thanks
Got it from Varnish Gallery in San Fran, where he lives. It was the last show at the gallery's current location. The city is taking the property under eminent domain to develop a port. Pretty sad story because it's a fantastic old building that will be lost. By coincidence Page's show name was ThankYouGoodbye (http://www.varnishfineart.com/artwork/show.php?s=71)
This is my second piece of his. My intro to him was through the now defunct Definition Gallery.
Have you seen his work in person? It's very much worth some long hard stares (like most quality art).

Agreed....the details set him apart from many others. I like the little insects or rodents that don't jump out right away but add to the richness. Though, he moved away from the minute details in this last show at Varnish....not a criticism by any means. I love the more free-flowing approach he decided to take. Can't wait to see what's next.
Love to see the close ups when you get a chance.

Hi, found this site on google whilst serching for anyone other than that ebay seller, who is selling the spectaculum carnis print portfolio.
Great to see some old faces from the other board on here (limited addiction), ie Sevnman, sleepboy, oldfartplay, massao, excellent virtu, highbrow and some old friends as well, ie Collector59 aka Debi, Hi Debi this is me Panda. And hello again all.
as for those who dont know me, i am an artist and collector(of art, and other things, such as the odd and unusual), though i spend more time and money on collecting than i do on my own peices, and thus it leaves me in the poor house (even with being a student) many a time but hey i am proud of my modest collection, which grows daily. Although i always make that promise that THIS will be my last peice and i WILL spend my money on my own paintings... never works out that way . I will post soon the pictures soon, though, not many pictures as I cannot find my camera battery but it will suffice until i find the camera battery.
looking forward to re-connecting with ya all and making some new friends as well.
cheers -D

Andy, good to see you on the board, had a great time with you at BT! Peter, welcome, glad to have you on board! Hi Ken, yeah it was great hanging out at BT. I actually had no idea about this board until i noticed the link on the AM coverage of BT. It's nice to see a site where people are more interested in the art itself than the value of it. So much cool stuff on here.
