came back for a second visit  the only word i have for these is 'delightful'! there's such a sweet innocence about her work and yet such a tongue and cheek humor the gets me every time. and she is queen of the color pallette. so warm, but also light and guazy. almost like some sort of delicious candy. *sigh* you're a lucky man my friend |

Thanks for your comments. I love these paintings and I'm happy to see that they can be appreciated even over the internet!
Sleep, yes the balls of yarn ARE cool. Even though they are only about 2 inches across the detail is amazing. Lola must have used a single hair brush a magnifying glass and a very steady hand to paint them.
