I'm thinking that if a new framer actually drymounted my Phlegm drawing that I'm going to be really fucking pissed.

Just wondering if anyone here has any exterior walls they wouldn't mind being adorned with some large geometric work ?

From James Jean Twitter feed... can I get on a flight and make it to LA by 5?
"Giving away a piece of art @chairmantruck tonight at Edgewood Eats, Palo Alto, 5pm. First person to order a "Panda Belly Bun" with gets it!"

My self imposed art purchasing ban really isnt going well Ha! I've used that one on gallery owners before. It's usually followed by an email an hour or so later buying the piece in question.

The Jerry Saltz / Adam Lindermann spat has made for fascinating reading this week. Don't you just love it when the people you least expect lose all sense of dignity in public? Meow!

Ive managed to not buckle yet, but ive made more enquiries in the last 2 weeks than I did in the previous 6 months

I noticed in the Josh Keyes thread that he released a second run of prints for his Scorch I piece. I'm pretty new to all this still but how is this generally perceived by the art community? Does this not essentially devalue (in a purely economical sense) the existing prints for the print owners?

In any event, it is for charity so probably there is more leeway.

In any event, it is for charity so probably there is more leeway. they decided to increase the edition due to demand from the original run of 150(?). everyone who bought one knew the edition size before the time of purchase, so i don't see any issues with this. it wasn't a second run of an edition - the original edition size was increased before release. the second batch was released at a later date due to printing time and other commitments as far as i understand it. problem is here that when people see a josh keyes print release, they see dollar signs.

Ahhh gotcha. I thought they just decided to print and sell another 200 prints. Still too new at this I guess. Thanks for the clarification.

quite enjoy this piece from Paul Wackers current exhibition. i don't know if he has a thread on artchival? (at least i couldn't find one which seems odd given the amount of recognition he has gotten here of late.) does anyone have a preview they could share with me via PM please?

Ok, since this is the 'Artwise' thread, I'm guessing those are Lucio Fontana coasters, but my first thought was to ask if they came with rolled up dollar bills.
