Hi Mescalito, I would say that you have some good textural experiments here that are worth exploiting more. The second work from the bottom exhibits an interesting tension between the 'accidental' effects of the medium and what appears to be a more considered approach to value, as in tone. Add to this a larger variety of mark making in the image and I would say that this is the most successful piece here but you may feel differently of course.

Thanks for your opinion, really appreciate it, that particular piece was made with spraycans and water on paper. P.S. love your paintings, amazing technique and style you got there!

Thanks for that mescalit0. Here's some work I produced for my first themed show 'Unauthorised Realities'. The title is 'borrowed' from Timothy Leary and the theme is derived from Baudrillard's postmodern theories about Hyperreality and simulacra. The actual work is very different from what I'm known for. Not a painting in site, at least not in the traditional sense. These are digitally sculpted, painted and cut from acrylic vinyl. They are very reflective so don't photograph well. Oh and Happy Xmas everyone! Better than the Real Thing Evolution of Intelligence Three Flowers for Clement Greenberg Granny Takes a Trope

Hi, I'm a graphic designer/photographer and i'm no painter but i also experiment with paints, cans, laquers, and other stuff. These were made last year: This one was made for charity auction And this is one that i kept for myself (all the rest was gone in a week ) These are some details of a new series i'm working on : Made with laquers and ferrofluid, still need some more experimenting the get the structures the way that i want. What do you guys think???
