Sounds like there might be some room for negotiation on the price of the water colors. For what it's worth, the ones they had at Lazarides (think there's one left) were 3500 GBP (appx. $5700) and they measured 18" x 24" while the ones at Giant Robot are 27" x 21".

some of the watercolours that i've seen are my favourite work from choe.
i like the simplicity of the 'head' type of paintings. very elegant. some of the larger 'canvas' pieces can be a little too busy for me.
some of the watercolours i've seen though i wouldn't want on the wall - the titles of the one's i'm referring to are hilarious though.
choe doesn't seem afraid to let out onto the page whatever fucked up thoughts are in his head at that moment in time, which is something i admire him greatly for.

Nevertheless, this is a great painting and I certainly hope that Mr. Choe will bring a few of his Beijing works to SF because they're worth the visit to the show. |

Geez, print edition never crossed my mind for this piece and I would definitely grab it myself even though I've tried to refrain from purchasing Choe's prints in the past, but a few of Choe prints were too irresistible for me to avoid that I had to pull the trigger on them!

The image was on the FIFTY24SF site for the upcoming show.  I just talked to David and he's creating a whole new body of work for "Character Assassination". Sounds like he'll have some pretty neat prints to boot. ;D As for the future, I'm looking forward to his upcoming book and a pretty big LA show by the end of the year.  |

Some posters were given out last night at the GR Beniale Closing Party. They were of the ablove image (from his Beijing show, I think?) but had "LA 4/10" on them... is this a sign?

I think I might go for a print, I made my first Banksy purchase last week (yay!) and am going to Japan for a couple weeks on top of that (yay again!), so definitely trying to curb the spending this month, what do you folks think of "Ignored Prayers"?

Coming from my head, I recall the pieces: Tender Nob, Pretty Unrealistic, and Skulls and Bones. The _Pretty Unrealistic_ is still available as of last night. I'm at a school campus so can't actually view them at this moment...
