I wonder if it's the photo or if there was a conscious choice to tweak the colors from the original. I have to say I prefer the more muted original to the vibrant colors that the print appears to have.

Looks like the print might look a little different in person.

Were these available to purchase? Prices? I believe these will be available at some point. Don't know if they got around to getting a price list together but I would contact the museum...

^I think that it is GR that will be responsible for the pricing...

I contacted the gallery earlier today and was told that they were not for sale. Maybe as jemappellekat mentioned, sales may just be through GR.

Actually the water colors were (and may still be) available for purchase directly from Giant Robot. As I recall they cost $5,000 with the two large pieces costing $50,000 and $60,000.

Love the title... LOL. I just got my CUPCAKE CHOEGAL yesterday... Love it. But glad it's the last of the series.

Mm... Personally, I think the watercolor pieces are little overpriced. I believe that they would be in $3000-$3500 range, yet, they've been exhibited at a museum so I guess that's the main reason why the prices have increased. I like _Ramona_ and _Balls Crazy_ the best. I feel that watercolor painting is his best medium from his versatile arsenal at this moment.
Choe's having a show soon in February right here at Fifty24 Gallery. I hope that he'll be showing some new pieces there.
