ok. because the newest ok go video was just unveiled recently, i'll bite.. and praise you must be acknowledge when discussing classic videos. makes laugh so hard watching it. i'd pay good money to be able to go back in time and be one of the innocent bystanders generously gifted this piece of live performance art. that's some high quality b-boy moves if i've ever seen them  but seriously, you can't talk about genius music videos without direct reference and praise of all of spike jonze and ok go videos. check them out. |

yes, it's a lazy saturday afternoon and i couldn't help watching all the other ok go videos and praising them further. so...
i'm sure everyone has seen this at least once, but it deserves another viewing. arguably the most creative, well choreographed music videos of all time. one continuous take, but then again all of their videos are. ice skating on treadmills. i mean, come on.
and while here it comes again set the stage for their creative genius and is certainly more classic, i might very well like this too shall pass more. but it might be a result of preferring the actual song slightly more, at least the crescendo reached at the end.
just for shits and giggles while i'm at it, and because it too is amazing on any standard, here's another. gotta love the matching jumpsuits, slow motion foot work and dancing duck.

arcade fire is arguably my favorite band, so it pains me to hear your thoughts on the song. but as with any art form, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. it's easily my favorite song on the new album, which ironically i just mentioned in the music thread..perhaps with the potential to grow to an all time favorite as more time passes. too each their own  regardless, i wanted to thank you for pointing this out to me. i remember reading about this project before it was fully completed and had forgotten about and never experienced it. super innovative stuff for sure. very cool. |

Didn't know much about ok go, but found this version which has the most amazing continuous shot!! glad i was able to turn you onto them. good music, but even better videos for sure. all are done on single takes. so awesome. and had meant to post the new lcd soundsystem video all along and mistakingly kept referring to and posting ok go ones above. here it is.. reminded me of spike jonze's 'i'm here' short film, which is genius and a must see in it's own right. check it.. |

Thought I would go with a unknown and my favorite ( please take note I spent 10 years as a tour manager for Clear Channel Entertainment and since working in that business I have learned to not really like music, and a good friend is the greasy hair guy with the mustache )
