Ahh... Is it me, or is this etching somewhere in the neighborhood of 1000% larger than that last -similar- print, for a grand less? Beautiful image, though. Very tempting.

I can't stand yellow gold, so it's a total deal breaker for me as far as the various higher end prints ryden does

I hate Pressure Printing's greedy ways even more now. It's really too bad I'm not in love with the frame, cause the imagery is amazing! Or maybe its a blessing in disguise, as I cannot even remotely consider affording this at the moment.

Richard, Speaking of a grand less. Someone has resorted to selling thier Madonna and Karl for LESS than the original price. I think he's dropping the price about $100 per hour! Isnt that the other way around compared to all other Ryden editions? This should speak volumes to Mark.

Yeah, I get a real kick out of whoever that is trying to sell that on eBay. The first time they listed it (this being the third in three weeks) - They had a question:
Q: Will you take $7000 to end the auction early? May-27-08 A: Hi, thank you for the offer. Since there are already bids I can't accept. The buy-it-now price is a steal though... this sold out very quickly on the...more
Too bad they didn't take that offer for 7K! Unfortunately, I have a feeling they may have made that offer to their self. Pretty funny.

anybody get the print? I don't understand why Mark would even consider putting out an edition of that masterpiece at the drawing stage when he could've done a framed giclee on canvas of the completed painting like the old days. I would have been first in line! I'm very disappointed Can you imagine it? What a waste IMO... jIm

I'd have been more into the print even if it didn't have the 'technical drawing' type stuff on it, but yeah - the completed painting is great.

I thought those might go quick. I was lucky enough to get one (first time I ever beat the masses)I can't believe you didn't get one when you had it in your cart. What happened? I wouldn't sweat it too much a bunch of those will end up on eBay.
They sold out in a minute or two. limit 4 per customer of an edition of 500 at only $25 a pop means they'll go quick.

am I right in thinking they sold out in 5 minutes? Just over 2 minutes and gone - that was down and dirty! Ya know, there was a rare and coveted "Rose" pin handed out to patrons the opening night of The Blood Show at Earl McGrath. Hope these are the same! jIm

Someone on expressobeans emailed Porterhouse asking if these were of the same edition as previous Rose pins and was told these were a brand new edition :
"Mark Ryden’s Rose Pin being released today is not the same edition as the pin earlier released. It is the same image of Rose, however, it is made from a completely different mold and composed of far better quality materials. "

Missed that one! Does anyone know if Porterhouse sends out emails about releases anymore? Last one I got was for the Tree of Life.
