Unfortunately I have not made a dime off of that Audrey Perhaps not...but you still have the Citrusmint gum, so that must count for something! ;-)

imagine just switching it vertically if you get bored at times. Brilliant!

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that her Rome show is going to be her best yet. 3 paintings shown so far, 3 paintings that I would kill to have. I hope somebody on this board is lucky enough to score one because I'm not even going to try. I'll just be looking forward to the prints of these.

i'm afraid at how much these pieces are going to be... as i feel they deserve to be considerably more pricey than her previous shows.
like i actually have a shot at getting one anyways.

I agree with mute completely. I think the Rome show is shaping up to be next level. The new color scheme/vibe is absolutely stunning.

I might be taking my girlfriend to Rome later this year, and I think I would have to schedule the trip to coincide with the show.....

Looks like Melissa found the source for the tentacles in your painting Marcus.

Just posted these pics in my collection, but thought I might post them here as well in case anyone missed them. Here is a "family photo" for my Audreys.

She's using this image for a special print with Pressure Printing, who brought us Mark Ryden's "Maddona & Karl." Look for this to be beautiful.....and hella expensive!

I wonder if she ever considered that by making such nice prints, she is encouraging people not to spend so much on originals and buy the prints instead. Because the copro prints are pretty damn nice. I haven't had one person who has come to my house suspect they weren't OG's yet. In fact, they all think I'm joking when I tell them it's a print. Even after touching it, they think it's an OG.

Interesting thought. Personally, though, it doesn't matter what everyone else thinks...it matters what I know. And as I would always know that it is a print, it would always feel somewhat diminished to me. To me there is a HUGE difference just knowing that the artist's hand actually created the piece I am looking at. Not sure if I am in the minority or not.

Audrey just posted the full 12-page Juxtapoz interview on her blog...and it includes a peek at another piece from her upcoming show in Rome. Cool stuff!
