Two Sisters is new...at least to me. Not my favorite of the monotone pieces, but still very nice. I am getting excited for this show.

LOL. Since the image was labeled "hairgirlboy2.jpg" I assume one is a girl and one is a boy. Although they look kinda androgynous.

Very nice print but SO overpriced. Maybe at $900 it would be worth it...but $1500?!? Original pencil drawings go for 2k - 2500 or so. Is there any record of Pressure Printing actually selling something at a reasonable price? Think I'll wait and pick one up at $1k when someone has to unload one on eBay.

these are absolutely stunning but agree with the above...closer to $1k would have been more accurate IMO

sold out. inquire about APs? WTF.

Yeah, I don't get that either. Makes me wonder if they are actually going to try to charge more for the proofs. And I still think it was overpriced. Madonna & Karl sold out instantly, too...but good luck getting your money back if you try to sell it on eBay.

Sold out / enquire about proofs... How come that doesn't surprise me... Oh, because while PP rocks at making prints, they're a joke as a publisher.

I saw that when I was at work earlier and I didn't even know what to think. Anybody inquire about pricing just for giggles?
Audrey Kawasaki: Okimiyage Edition: 50, + 10 Artist's Proofs, 10 Printer's Proofs, and 1 Bon รก tirer.

Traditionally proofs are held back until the regular edition has sold out and allot of publishers/artist ask more for proofs. (I know, I know) Also, many publishers/artist hold proofs back for shows/events/charities.
Proofs are usually the only profit Pressure Printing will see after production cost (overhead) and advertising. (full page ad for this piece in Hi Fructose) Some of the Pressure Printing editions took years to put together like the Ryden's, Mothersbaugh and the new Kawasaki edition. (love the embossing)
Look at Pressure Printings available prints and you will see about 80% of his stock is unsold. Brad has put the money out to produce all of the unsold editions but has seen no profit yet. Pressure Printing produces some of the best art prints out there but makes most of his money on outside projects to keep his doors open.
If he can pay off some bills with his Proofs then God Bless Him. Pressure Printing ROCKS!!!
