Josh just revealed the full painting on his forum.. Im loving this one so much, it hurts.. This was influenced partly by Richard Adams Plague Dogs as well as the Inle character from Watership Down The products depicted in the painting are made by companies that continue to test on laboratory animals..

Josh's piece is quite moving with such a powerful message-If this becomes a print, I think I will be trying to buy my first Keyes print

Lacks the raw, yet subtle, emotion achieved in most of Josh's work. Yet while the social commentary here is almost too overt for my tastes, it's still a wonderfully executed painting. At first I didn't even notice the outline of Inle in the crows, because I was too distracted by all the brand items. It was only when clicking on the thumbnail version on my desktop that it became clear. Pretty neat actually.

It is quite overt but I am not quite sure how you can handle the Black Rabbit of Inle in the context of animal testing otherwise. I like how this painting could make some of the viewers slightly uncomfortable when faced with this subject.

That's quite valid and you are correct that human lives are at steak, but I still think we should be critical of our lives and realize at what cost we have things the things we do-a life saving surgery on a pig is quite different from squirting chemicals in a rabbit's eye for makeup or soap. The latter is what I think Keye's work is conveying here.

Amazing to look back at how much was raised with the Totem II release. If this gets anywhere near $28k again, that would be incredible. Always loved this piece too.

Def an impressive total. Bravo, Josh. Interesting that only $10 from the sale of each print goes to charity this time. Last time it was $15. So if you figure an additional 50% less was raised as a result, it goes to show just how much larger this edition is.

The Cerberus Project 30"x40" acrylic on panel Posted by Josh on his forum - WOW!!!! wonderful. somewhat of a return to an older style. i like that a lot. so the solgan reads 'walls have ears' and there are references to banksy and skullphone....?

I like this direction, a badass mythological creature in a modern landscape....possible commentary on the world we live in? Whatever the reasoning, if any, it's a solid piece. I wonder about the textures though, the oil drum, tire, and Lion all have a similar texture from the looks of it. I'd like to see some of Josh's work in person and up close.
