Did not buy, but got as a early birthday gift from my father two new photos from Al Rockoff, Rockoff is most famous for his cutting edge photos during the Vietnam War. He was also portrayed by John Malchovich in the film " The Killing Fields " HE and my father became friends while in Vietnam and currently live very close to one another in South Florida. Last year I was lucky enough to meet him as he spends half his time in Cambodia continuing to document ongoings there. His work is photos are not shown in the US very often but are in various galleries and the museums around the world. I know a number of people are not really into photos but here are the two I got last year, the new ones are packaged up waiting for framer. Sorry for the graphic nature of the photos if need to be removed please let me know. The first one is a mother and child, the mother breast feeding behind lays her husband who was executed minutes earlier. the second is two men just prior to a explosion as they carry a hand through the rubble to the bottom you see an entire body minus the head. Thanks for looking the next one will be my AJ Fosik wood print I promise. Or the other two photos depends which gets to me first. wow, those are pretty cool... so those are the real photos? how many of each does he develop, meaning is there a limited amount of each photo? how much do those go for?
