James Jean So awesome. Where/when do you approach artists for sketches anyways? Aren't they usually busy? I only have 2 sketches, one from Matt Groening and the other from Pixar's Ricky Nierva.

Awesome, I wish I could go, but it's a bit too far. Thanks for the photos, they give much more depth than the digital scans that are on the website.

I wasn't for or against this, but since he's been banned, it would be great if we kept a look out for his aliases, cause in the case of other forums, he'll re-register anyways. The anonymity of a new alias makes it easier to scam others if that was ever his intention, so I would be careful.

Hey guys, Just a quick question. There's a painting I'm interested in at a gallery, I have no experience dealing with a gallery to purchase original art, is the price usually something that gets haggled over to some degree or is sticker price pretty much the final word? I don't want to show improper etiquette but at the same time I don't want to leave cash on the table either. Thanks artchival.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=generaldiscussion&action=display&thread=6716I got some good answers to that question here, when I asked. Hope that helps

Picked up Arcade Fire, Tegan & Sara, Florence and the Machine, and Flaming Lips. Got there 15 minutes before the store opened and the line was around the block.

Gerard Stricher - Katama Even though I had the dimensions for the piece, it was so much larger than I thought it would be. Have no room for it until I move in a month or two.

Very cool ksn! I always liked James' designs for these boxes, just couldn't bring myself to buy them... Are these prints on board or paper? What size? They're 12"x12" and printed on tin sheets. Not too bad, I was expecting them to be small, like the actual Hint Mint boxes
