<3 Hera
But I won't comment on the art itself because it pisses Matt off.
I do like some of it though.

yes...smoking hot.
It's actually a guy and a girl. She is Hera and he is Akut so everything is a collaboration. I just choose to focus on her! But yeah it's not cheap. They sell the majority of everything they put out. Sketches start around $900 and small simple 10x10 paintings start around $1,500 but I would say you need a good $3k-$4k to get a really awesome piece.

I like some of their stuff, I definitely appreciate the technique they use. Here's a piece I really like that someone over on Limited Addiction bought and posted about:

Hera is SMOKING HOT. OMG. Anyone going to the show tonight or picked up anything? I felt the majority of the pieces were priced a bit high, but that may be due to our weak dollar after the exchange rate. My favorite piece is "She Was So Rich"

I finally got a chance to stop by the gallery last night and check out the show. It is even better than expected. They do so much on each piece you would never be able to see in any pics. They do hand sticthing on a lot of them that just looks unreal. Seeing all these things in person just cemented the fact that they are one of my absolute favorite artists.

That sculpture is awesome! You know if she sculpted that herself? Also, how much were they asking for it? I didn't see it on the site.

Hey Rhino, how was the rest of the show? I am really curious about Rene Almanza. I'll have to get over there sometime this week.

i really liked the rene almanza stuff... he brought a bunch of smaller ink drawings and aren't priced too bad, also has some larger brush work too. i don't have photos of his stuff on me, but there's some pics on his blog: www.renealmanza.net/framesalmanza.html
