I hate to be the bearer of disappointing news but this edition sold out months ago in advance orders as part of her Tetrachromat show. It was subject to an extremely long delay before finally being shipped a couple of weeks ago. It's an edition of 120.

This appears to have been nothing more than a cruel joke on flippers.

yeah, love that piece too, but the estimate seems really aggressive. if someone gets it for low estimate of 30,000GBP, they'll be paying 37,250GBP after premium, which is nearly $60,000. that's kinda crazy for a mid-sized drawing.

Does absolutely nothing for me... But I guess after design school I've been overexposed to that sort of thing, even down to the choice in word. Maybe it's fresher to those that didn't walk past a BA typography dept. every day.
That's my second negative post in a row in this thread - I'm actually a huge fan of her work, I swear!

I, for one, appreciate a negative post. There tends to be pressure on these forums to not say anything negative or even critical, which makes for boring discussion.
I think your criticism in both cases is valid. Are the works her most original? No way. But she does them well, and with her style, which makes them interesting to me.

I did a typography BA!! and this leaves me stone cold dead too.

Rizza, I couldn't get past the piece itself to actually look at the condition.
If I were building any type of collection, be it Auerbach/conceptual/typography/etc., this would not be the quality of piece I would be looking to acquire.

I'd have to agree with you though, even if I had stupid money to throw around, I certainly wouldn't be buying this.

someone else can chime in and correct me if I'm wrong, but I think they were like 700 bucks.

yeah, that's about right.
i'd expect this print to sell for as much or more than the printed matter fold print, given the slightly smaller edition size and the more complex printing. so, seems like the one on ebay is priced about right.
bet it's gone within a day or two.

I would agree with these sentiments. Although the edition size is a stated 120, several were damaged in shipping from my understanding. There may only be about 80 or so of these prints.

aren't they going to replace the damaged ones? or are they just issuing refunds?
